Our Story
Simulatory AG is a company founded by Venkat Gourishankar, Gayathri Venkat and Ralf Wagner, a group of experienced professionals in the medical technology sector, having worked for top companies including 3D Systems, Hewlett Packard to name a few. Venkat, with a background in haptic technology and surgical simulation, and Gayathri, with expertise in quality assurance and operations and Ralf being a world class orthopedic surgeon joined forces to innovate in surgical training.
They founded Simulatory in 2021 to develop next-generation smart simulators. Initially, their focus was on open craniotomy surgery simulation. However, due to market demand from industry and surgeons, they pivoted to spinal surgery, specifically endoscopic procedures, where there is a significant training gap. Their goal was to improve pre-operative training that could result in decreased recovery time and less post-op complications.
Simulatory AG now positions itself as a platform company, aiming to revolutionize surgical simulation globally with its proprietary "Smart Simulation Platform." This platform provides surgeons with unlimited, realistic, and engaging training opportunities, ultimately aiming to improve surgical outcomes
